Originally, this series was intended to focus on the 2024 presidential candidates. This concept was soon abandoned in favor of George Washington, chosen for his status as the "Father of America" and the universal familiarity of his Athenaeum portrait.
The investigation initially yielded little until the environment unexpectedly transformed into a shallow cubist space—a byproduct of a slap-dash collage technique merging multiple sources. This shift was entirely unplanned, appearing uncharacteristic of a process working without a fixed concept. The subsequent images explore this reordering of reality, deconstructing an American icon into a series of overlapping planes.
