This series created 55 images focusing on marksmanship while using graphics as opposition. The most successful elements from each variant are reassembled into a new master.

A successor to Phoenix 341, RePhoenix explores the tension between gestural washes and graphic elements within a challenging square format. While previous work focused on literal layout constraints, this series prioritizes visual balance and fluid evolution.

My process centers on "distillation." After numerous iterations, I reassemble the most successful elements into a new master. Rather than viewing this as a final refinement, I treat these distillations as the birth of a new generation. This compartmentalized approach allows each stage of an image's evolution to be fully represented.

Though the integration process is often chaotic, the resulting friction allows the work to move beyond experimentation and into maturity.
